Training Program on ‘Contract Management’ Conducted by NIREM


A two-day management development program on ‘Contract Management’ was conducted by NIREM for Mahindra World City, Jaipur on 20-21 May, 2014. Managers from diverse functional areas such as contracts, legal, MEP, IT etc. participated actively in the program.

The program focused on tender processing, contract management & administration, Key Performance Indicators, Contract Reporting, Contract Closeout, Claims, Disputed & Settlement, Alternative Dispute Resolution etc. Participants actively participated in the program and were especially interested in topics like time and cost escalation and resulting claims and settlements. Another important topics that was actively debated was the tender process and management.

Since the faculty members were highly experienced and included former Additional Director General of CPWD and Director of a leading construction company, they could throw light on each aspects of contracts. Actual and real life examples of contract clauses, claims, disputed, settlements etc. were the highlight of the two days of the training.

Mahindra Word City (Jaipur) Limited, a 3000 acres SEZ, is a joint venture between Rajasthan State Industrial Development & Investment Corporation Limited (RIICO- A State Government Enterprise) and Mahindra Lifespace Developers Limited (a Mahindra Group Company). Real Estate Jobs for 3rd and 4th Sem and Fresh MBAs

If you are a 3rd   or 4th Sem MBA student or have already completed your MBA but are yet to get any confirmed job offer from recruiters then this news if for you.

Today most of the MBAs do not get suitable employment offer on campus. The other problem is that once they are out of the campus, they lose their demanding position to seek suitable jobs, whatever they have.

This problem occurs because it is an established fact that most of the graduates of MBA institutes today do not possess any employable skills. They need to be trained in different areas even though they have studied the same programs for two years.

Despite this huge availability of MBAs, real estate companies have been facing huge shortage of professionals at entry level. It is not that these companies do not get applications in response to their job recruitment advertisements. The problem lies in the scarcity of quality applicants. Training Program on Planning & Starting Property Consulting Business



In its objective to enhance professionalism in real estate and create a pool of knowledgeable and professionally competent property consultants, NIREM Institute of Real Estate Management has started offering a training program on ‘Planning & Starting Property Consulting Business’ on 11-12 November, 2013 at Delhi.

Certificate Course in Real Estate Management from July, 2013



Continuing its efforts to provide trained and educated manpower to the Indian real estate sector, NIREM is starting its next batch of certificate course in real estate management from 22nd July, 2013. The course focuses on providing a structured knowledge about various aspects of real estate business.
While the emphasis is on property documentation and transaction process, the course also includes modules on property laws & acts, real estate marketing, brokerage & transaction.
In order to provide complete knowledge to the course participants, the course also covers housing finance, property valuation, taxation in real estate, transactions related to NRIs/PIOs, regulatory issues, planning, zoning & development, Vaastu Shastra in Real Estate etc. among others.
